Lucid Nightmares

Sometimes,like last night I have like these uncontroleble lucid nightmares..heres an example of what I dreamed last night..

I simply used MILDs to induce a lucid dream and I first found myself in a non lucid dream,I was behind my computer and everything seemed completely normal..then I went down and I realised I had to reality check,so I turned of the light and tried turning it back but it didnt,so device failure positive..so at first I was like yeah! another one in da pocket! But of course I had to make sure so I went over,at least tried, to get over to our DVD player(why,beats me,i gues it was on). But suddenly I got sucked up in thick murky blob. I could hardly move and tried to get out of it,but it was invane, mind power failure,everythign failure,probally because I was I panic, I tried yelling verbal commands such as "Clarity now!!" or vision or movement ( the blob got in my eyes an I got hardly see ) , I could feel being like completly sucked up by the blob and nothing was working and I couldnt keep my eyes open,then I suddenly had the feeling I got sucked out or something and woke up..really not very nice..

Any of you people ever had lucid nightmares that you cant handle?

Never had a lucid nightmare. I have been in nightmares before and then realized I was dreaming and became lucid. At that point, I am always able to end the nightmare, either by forcing myself awake or changing the dream.

When I was younger I had a nightmare where I was in a castle and some solidiers and monsters were after me at every corner

. I somehow obtained lucidity when I realized that this was unrealistic so I tried to wake up but wouldn't. I kept thinking to myself "this is just a dream, i can't get hurt" but the bad guys were still persistent and I was terrified

How ironic how I couldn't wake up when I wanted to and now when I want to remain dreaming I wake up

Yeah they suck... knowing your dreaming, should all be in your head, should be able to controll it, make it stop, or wake up... but nooooo!

i remember a current Nightmare that occours when im ill ( high fever and stuff).
since i realise that, about 15 years ago, when i was mid-teen.
i never had that nightmare again ( neither i remember an other nightmare..).

I remember that when the first "sign" of that nightmare come (tactil sensation..) i kinda studied that. so i started to hate/love the feeling that happenes only two or three times in 15 years...

i think that a nightmare is a VERY good way to become lucid.

Hey, I've been lucid dreaming since I was a wee one and only discovered a few months ago. I usually have nightmarish lucid dreams, except when I'm having a siesta. When I was younger I thought that feeling of being sucked in was so scary and thought if I didn't try and wake myself up, I would be forever asleep. It feels like your brain is being drawn from the face of the earth. Anyway, I was napping today and had a lucid dream. I was in my car and suddenly said hey, I'm dreaming, so I made the car fly and then it was just me flying. Groovy hey!
