      my entirely unintentional lucid dreams

I was talking to a friend recently, and the subject of dreams arose. I mentioned to him how I particularly enjoyed the dreams in which I became aware of dreaming- they are VERY infrequent for me, but I have had several. In the most recent one I was driving a friend of mine to the train station near my apartment, and after dropping him off I was pulled out of the car by some guy who then drove off with it. I began chasing him, and noticed I had no trouble keeping up with the car- then all of a sudden POP I was back in the drivers seat. I thought to myself "that makes no sense..." and it dawned on me that I was dreaming. So I pulled over, got out of the car, and jumped up onto the roof of a building nearby. I then jumped from roof to roof all the way back to my apartment, where I made a fountain grow out of the ground in the backyard, and then smashed it to pieces with my bare hands, and then made it all build back together again. I then levitated a car... and woke up. He told me that he's never experienced anything like it before, so I looked up the phenomenon, and came across this website yesterday. I then tried the WILD technique, and it kinda worked, kinda not- I had THE MOST VIVIDLY REALISTIC dream of my life, but it wasn't lucid. I remember thinking the WILD wasn't working and getting up, but I guess I wasn't awake- it was SO damned real though. Hopefully I'll notice I'm dreaming next time, so I can have a lucid dream that's as realistic as my WILD dream that almost was.
