I actually had my first lucid dream in many weeks right after joining this forum yesterday. I wrote an introduction post late last night, and fell asleep on the couch right after posting it.
I dreamt I was in a room filled with people, it was some kind of party. While I was talking to a friend there, I began feeling a strange sensation in my mouth. Suddenly one of my teeth fell out and when I spitted it out on the floor, all my teeth started falling out from my gums. I spitted them all out and recognized this as a dream sign from earlier dreams I have had of my teeth falling out. Loosing all my teeth at the same time, yeah right, I'M DREAMING!! I got up and without really thinking about what to do, I started to sing, spinning around trying to change the room into a stage and the people into an audience. It worked! One of the girls in the audience looked at me smiling as if she knew what I was doing, and she somehow encouraged me to play the guitar too. I'm not good at playing guitar at all, but since I knew I was dreaming and not making a fool out of myself, I started to play, and I could hear myself playing a loud and cool guitar solo, way above my real skills.
After this performacne I don't remember what happened, I think I woke up shortly after.
It was really cool to have a lucid dream after trying hard for a couple of weeks now. I usually have them randomly and not very often, so it feels good that my determinatin to get more control has finally started to pay off.
Singing and performing is my dream in real life too, and when I let my instincts decide what to do when I was lucid, that was what I ended up doing!
Thank you for your welcoming, It's great to meet other explorers of the dream world!
