"Transferred" Scene

Two nights ago I had the best dream of my life; naturally it was lucid (how can a dream you control not be good?). After I became lucid in the dream I walked into a shop. However, after I was through the door I wasn't actually in the shop. While I'm awake I write poetry, most of which occurs in a world I call "The City". When I walked through the door I ended up right in the middle of The City; and somehow it was better than I ever could have imagined. Has this ever happened to anyone else, that a place that they made up while awake occurs in their lucid dreams?

That sounds so awesome! You should try to go back there! I have, in a way, when I'm stressed and trying to rest/sleep, I'll imagine this tropical island. I have visited such a place in my lucid dreams, but in those cases, the dream has overcome the waking imagination.

Has this ever happened to anyone else, that a place that they made up while awake occurs in their lucid dreams? I have created/designed my perfect room while in a lucid dream but never have I made up a place while awake and then managed to go there when lucid. Congratulations.. that's impressive!

Well, my last goal that I set for myself was to visit a tropical island paradise in my next lucid dream. I had an image in my mind of what the tropical island should look like, and a few more specific details. In my last lucid dream, I managed to get there. I didn't have time to explore before I was woken up, but from what I saw through the door of the beach house it is/was all I wanted and more! I plan to explore it more in my next lucid.

Nope, but it's my ultimate goal to create a place I've made up in my lucid dreams. And you had it right there in front of you. Lucky...
