I've noticed that when I become lucid and try to do something u wouldn't normally do in real life (and go to jail for) - like flying (haha!) - they start to attack me!! What they hey? Does anyone know why this happens or how to stop/prevent this? |

"What if I were to tell u that you can take control...of all of this? Look at all these people. Seems as though they're just all chatting away? Nothing to do with u. And yet., maybe they're only here because u wanted them to. U are their god. U can make them obey u or even destroy u."

I'm afraid this happens to me too. One time i walked up to this stunning car called a Java and as i am about to get in this guy comes out of a house and is walking towards me not looking in the best mood then we end up fighting. (perhaps it was his car) |

This is starting to come up often enough that I wonder what is going on and what the cause of it is. Yes, I do know what you mean. |

I think it's when you have a low lucidity level, and your concious sees that you're doing bad things and you punish yourself I guess by making the DCs attack you. |
|
I agree with the low lucidity thing. I find that in my gems of lucid control, nothing is impossible. But in my low levels I'll sometimes have the overpowering urge to fly as high as possible because I feel that someone is going to try and grab me from below. The most important and very first task that should be done at the moment of becoming lucid, in my view, is to ground yourself and increase your clarity. I make it a point to take in as much detail as possible and even review the basic concepts of dream control, even if I've done it a billion times before. |

VERY interesting, who would have thought... This does make sense |

I might be not in my place to say this (since I had only 2 short LD's), if I were you I would just blast them with a fireball or something... |

Knowledge is Power, but True Power Lies in Knowing the Unknown.
I'm kind of opposite with the level of lucidity--if it's low, the DC's are like regular people; but if it is high and I concentrate on them, they become hostile. |
|
Whenever I go lucid I forget about my dream characters and they basically stop existing and if they are still there they stop doing everything. It's as if they were a video game character with an AI glitch. |

This actually happened to me on 12/6 (I was 20) of last year. I was stressed out over seeing a $100,000 bonus round win on Wheel of Fortune the night before. I did some bad things that morning, resulting in me being messaged. And what happened later that night? I dreamt where a Japanese villain had kidnapped young American women and I was trying to get the heck out of his way (as he was being fought by his archnemesis, the hero of the dream, whose nationality is also Japanese). I believe this was trying to tell me that one of my favorite subjects in U.S. history to learn about since I was 12 was about to celebrate its 65th anniversary, and that would be the Attack on Pearl Harbor. |

This hasn't happened to me, but after reading this thread, I bet it will |
