Thread: Strange LD

I'm new to this site so I don't quite understand everything about LDs' and was wondering whether some people could give me some advice. Heres the story

i had a really bad LD last week but today i got woken up and then went back to sleep and then had an amazing LD ... It was unbelievable!!! Everything was so real but strangely i couldn't fly!?! (which i did with ease in the last one) any ideas why? Todays was a lot more vivid! Also when i attempted to fly i was at school and suddenly nearly all the school ran past my trying to fly aswell, making a giant pile up! Is this normal in a LD, everyone copying what you do? thanks.

I only remember that happening one time; I got lucid and was admiring how beautiful the raindrops on a window were, and I looked around and hundreds of DC's were all doing the same thing.

Sometimes I can't manage to fly either; but I can usually manage long floating jumps in those cases.

well lufers there are some things you should do before trying to fly

1) try flapping your arms
2)just try like swimming but in the air
3) push as hard as you can on the ground and then jump up as hard as you can and then try swimming
4)if all else fails try web slinging like spider-man (that works for me!)

heres how i fly in dreams: i jjust relax my whole body and make myself feel weightless. then i lean fowards to go and just turn my body to go left or right. like riding a segway.

Maybe it was the vividness of the dream that made it difficult to fly. Maybe it seemed so real it was impossible to do something unreal.
