      Zombie state?

One year ago, I was at this gaming convent. I had been up 48 hours without sleep, when I was in the convent cinema with my friends. 300 was on, and since I'm not a big fan of that movie I fell asleep. When I woke up I wasn't sure I was awake or sleeping. I felt like a pile of goo, the feeling was similar to the sleep paralysis, but I could move. But moving was extreamly hard.
The most weird thing was that there was people changeing color and shape.
I remember my friend talking to me but I couldn't speak properly.

The next day I woke up in another room in my sleepingbag. When I told my friends about it, they said that there was a movie with people changing color and shape, and one of my friends had tried to talk to me, but I didn't answer very clearly. My question is: What the fuck was that?!

Wait... did you go watch another movie or were they talking about 300? Because that sorta sounds like the scanner darkly, IMO

I wish I could experience that!

It was probably the sleep deprivation. I've gone a few days without sleep here and there, and it gets real weird real fast. I know I have had similar problems with my speech being impaired. I remember it feels like there is a disconnect, or a delay, between hearing, speaking, and comprehending.

I've never had any vivid visual hallucinations. The most I've ever gotten was tunnel vision, my vision shaking and sliding, and seeing black spots.

Very unhealthy, if you ask me. I would not recommend it.

Unhealthy? well it wasn't really enoyable, but it was a little funny, I think. I'm not sure but I think it was the movie waking life that was on, or from my point of view, I was in it.

It sounds like a fun trip. Maybe I just think it's unhealthy because the only times I've gone without sleep have been forced. Too much work and stress and not enough time. Maybe it would be fun if it was in a fun atmosphere instead of a stressful one where I'm trying to get work done.

Probably can't be any worse for you than a night of heavy drinking, right?
