Thread: How's this for weird?

Did you have Frost band and umm, I forget the other one, isn't it something like Defender or am I hallucinating again? Either way, those bad boys do some damage. Anyway, Baldurs Gate is far supiror to NW Nights

Hehe. Twinkle. I sure did. I played Baldur's Gate and it was good. I think I kinda like NWN a little better though, only because it's 3rd Edition and I can make my character the way she was meant to be (she's basically an Arcane Archer, only without the prestige title).

That's true enough, I'd never have thought of becoming Drizzt, oh man, I haven't been this excited about going to sleep since, well, last night, but that's not the point, it's still a pretty neat idea

I played Baldur's Gate for a while... I liked it a lot at first but I got to a point where there was pretty much nothing but combat going on and I got sick of it.

Fallout & Fallout 2 remain my favorite rpgs.

I don't think I've ever dreamed about being a video game character. I do remember dreaming about fighting in a tournament with a sword once. I think Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is to blame for that one.

Before my little brother went into the army, we spent four days straight playing Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. That dominated my dreams something fierce.

All I heard in my head when I tried to go to sleep was "Blue Valkyrie shot the food!" and "Pojo is IT!"

Edit: Yeah, and Halo did the same thing too. I was having nightmares about the Library and all the Flood jumping out at me.

one of my scimi's needs some work the hilt is a little loose, I am gona have to take it apart and fix it, the other one is perfect, sharp as a razor solid and balanced, they didnt come with sheaths so I carved a pair of oak scabbards for them.

I gotta find the pic, I think my parents have the only copy though, I was a member of the pirate brotherhood of long island, many people do not know that new england and long island were primo pirate havens, back in the day, my character was good hearted but happened to get into trouble dabbling with rich folks daughters =) I only carried one small pistol and both my simi's flourentine, they called me the deck clearer, I was nearly as effective as a blunderbus =) It was great we did this benefit for an old museum on the island, we made up a puzzle and maps and the whole town including the mayor was involved, heeh, he was one of the bad guys, we had a huge group of children that we guided through the clues throughout this historical whalling town and dug up a treasure on the beach, It was so much fun heheh.

I had somone tell me in everquest that my character reminded them of drizzt, when I told them that I had no idea who he was they seemed astonished, lost soul was the one that introduced me to him, and my everquest character and drizzt seem to be quite alike. I love those books, so good.

They were written so well... I can so see a little dwarf being broadsided by a huge hammer, going tubling off and getting right back up yelling that aint enough to keep me down!
