Thread: my first very long lucid dream

Usually my lucid dreams last 5 minutes ,dream time(what seems like 5 minutes to me). But this morning my lucid dream just kept going and going and going. Here's what happened.
I woke up this morning, had some oatmeal, then went back to sleep. But as I was going back to sleep I was thinking about dreaming and focusing on the feeling I was getiting as my body disconnected(feels like a pleasant drug going through the body) THen I started "waking up" again but noticed I was somewhere else. I started walking and realized I was dreaming. I got so excited I started lookign around at everything. It was so clear and bright and beautiful. I was in some building and I ran to a door and decided as I opened it that outside the door it would be outer space. And it was. So I jumped out into it and started falling really, really fast. So fast I started to freak out kind of , even though I knew it was a dream, it felt just like I was falling very fast. Then I realized I could fly and flew up to this space ship in the sky to a door on the outide. I walked in and I was back in the place I was before. Still lucid. Then I walked to another door and it led to outside. I started running and thinking "This is the most lucid Ive ever been in a dream. Here I am thhinking about how Im dreaming while dreaming!" and I ran and jumped off the gras into a 1 foot deep area of water, and decided I'd slide across the surface. I must have not been adimnet enough cause I slid and then broke through and amazingly my feet hurt as if they landed on rocks. I thought you cant feel pain in a dream! But I kept going. Everything went smoothly in the dream. I sort of sprung out of the water gently while moving foreward. I decided I was gonna run back to Brookfield, where I used to live, near Chicago, but had trouble running to it. It just wouldnt apear anywhere. Then I lost sight of the dream and couldnt hold on to the vision. And I woke up....or so I thought. I walked into a room and asked this kid what time it was and suddenly thought "who the hell is this kid?" "Im dreaming still!" and ran back the same way I went last time. Outside but this time I turned right. I tried playing the trumpet(I play trumpet in real life) but it wouldnt work. I don't really remember too much of the details. It mostly involves me running around just loving being in a dream, and then wakingup in the same dream world room and starting over. I also had sex about 4 times throughout(My girls in another country, and there's nothing quite like dream sex) I do remember that everytime I had a false awakening(I had lots) the first hallucination Id have would be audible. Id usually hear someone talking to me then Id "open my eyes". I didn't even think to spin around to go somewhere else. Instead Id just have false awakenings, that never tricked me. Well, anyways, this is the longest and most fun lucid dream I've ever had. It went on for what seemed like 45 minutes. I feel much more confident about lucid dreaming than I ever have now.
