      Smile My First Lucid Dream!

      Blue = Lucid Dream

      I was walking down a fairly steep grassy hill and I remember it being a beautiful day. I have a feeling there were boulders rolling down the hill as well, like from a Mario game, but I’m not certain. Suddenly I thought of doing a Reality Check so I tried pushing my fingers through my hand, it actually didn’t work. However, one of my fingers turned transparent even though I couldn’t actually push it through my hand. I realized that I must be dreaming, and I was really quite excited. I tried to suppress that feeling though because I knew I might wake up. The first thing that I thought about was whether I would be able to solve problems will in a dream, so for some reason I made paper with maths problems appear. Just as I was about to attempt them, everything became blurry. I was about to try to spin because I’d heard that can help, but it was too late and the dream ended.

      ----
      I’m thinking any video game theme seems to be a more reliable dream sign for me (I've had a few similiar things before), but it’s still not a guarantee. I’m glad my reality checking is starting to work though. I’m really happy I managed to have a lucid dream, even if it was a boring and very short one. I now know that I can lucid dream, and I think that’ll give me the motivation to continue. The maths problems are funny though, I hate maths, which leads to believe I may not have been in full control of the dream.

      If you have any suggestions to improve my lucid dreaming, that'd be appreciated!

      Congrats Crimson! First lucid dream is probably the biggest step to more, in my experience and opinion. Anyways, don't worry about the math problems thing, because everyone does weird things in there dreams, even when lucid. I know i do at least . Anyways, congrats and good luck in future LD's!
