LD on christmas day =) [...a story about control]

OK this morning (christmas day!) I am pleased to be able to say I had a lucid dream, at about 12:15pm... actually it was pretty short and not the best I've had but then I did go to bed at 6:30am last night/this morning... so I wasn't even expecting one at all!

First things first, I cannot remember how I got lucid. Again I put this down to being very tired thanks to going to bed so late.. but anyway. I was in my sister's room looking out the back window. I made a big red eagle appear on the grass. Then I decided, just for fun, I wanted to make it gold. So I left the window, and said when I looked back out it'd be golden. I looked back out, but... it wasn't. I did this a few more times. Then something interesting happened...

Basically I got pretty angry its colour wasn't changing so I opened the window and shouted out at it... "come on why isn't the colour changing! look when i look back you will be gold!" ...and i believe the passion with which I said that was what made it a beautiful golden eagle that very second. Then it flew up onto our conservatory and I decided to make it green.. and it changed before my very eyes.

Then I decided to make a person appear.. I said that this particular character from a show would be behind me when I turned around.. and when I turned, I had succeeded. This is gonna sound really sad but I actually tried to kiss the character but as I did this I woke up.

Anyway I just wanted to share, I think the control thing is pretty interestin how it happened... also, isn't it awesome LDing on christmas day?! That means that this year I LD'd on both my birthday and christmas day!! And I know today's was nothing special but, as you all know, LDs don't have to be particularly interesting for them to be very special.
