I had what was basically a false awakening, because I noticed I was lying on my back in my bed. But I couldn't open my eyes, and I had an odd floating sensation. So then I realized I was dreaming and became lucid. But I still had the usual sleep paralysis symptoms: couldn't move, couldn't open my eyes or even speak. But since I knew I was lucid, I became determined to utilize it as much as possible. I concentrated on changing my surroundings, since I couldn't really move, and I managed to go from lying on the bed to lying on the floor. I still couldn't see, but I could feel the carpet under my fingers, and was able to move my hands.
So I thought, well I'm lying on the floor and can't really change that, so I'll try to summon my lover . I tried and tried and tried......I concentrated on his face, his name, his body, EVERYTHING. I WILLED him to appear, but to no avail . Then I lost lucidity and continued with some random dream.
I think I failed because deep down I felt it wasn't possible, because he lives over 750 miles away. Which is stupid, because ANYthing should be possible in a dream. Oh well, at least I was able to change some stuff. More practice I guess........
