Thread: Remembering your name..

My name has never really been asked in lucid dreams, but recently I've been known as Jdeadevil in my dreams.

I don't think I've ever been asked also or thought about it myself. Though, it would be interesting to find that out..

There was mention to that study in EWoLD. Someone else had said that it was impossible to say one's own name in a dream. Dr. Laberge did it just fine, if he said it he obviously had to know it. I'm pretty sure that I've used my name in dreams too.

My name has been said by myself and many others, in both dreams and lucid dreams.

I don't see why not... I've said my name several times in lucids and non-lucids.

I specifically tried saying my name in a lucid dream once to test this, after reading EWoLD(or possibly Laberge's other book on lucid dreaming) and nothing happened. I also remember telling at least one dream character my name in a lucid dream.

Not true for certain. In fact one of the things I played around with was "Please show me all the *first name*s in the world that think mostly like I do". Cool. "Now show me how they differ in thinking".
