      Missing dreamsigns

      So, last night I was really trying the MILD technique, and I was dreaming about being in my childhood house. I was in and out of pretty much every room, and I noticed that when I went to turn on the light in my bedroom, the lights just would not cooperate, at all. Also, I think I had a stomach ache when I was sleeping, so I dreamed about being on the toilet, and I remember finishing my business and the toilet, kind of reappeared in more of the corner and out of the way. There was another instance where I was doing laundry, and I put my clothes to dry, and start the dryer, and walk out of the room and back in, and my clothes being already dried.

      Can someone give me some pointers on how to not go with rational explanation the dream world provides you, and just know these dream signs are in fact, dream signs? I could have lucid four times last night, if I wouldn't have failed to notice these signs. I did end up having 1 lucid though. Feel free to share techniques to remembering these in your dream.

      I can't help, but I just wanna say that those things happen to me very often too. I see a dream sign and sometimes it's really obvious, but I still don't want to believe that it's a dream.

      A couple of examples...

      -I was flying and I thought it was a dream, but I stopped and thought that it may be possible that I can really fly.
      -I was dreaming of having a lucid dream...don't know if that counts as a sign, but I wasn't consciously aware of it.
      -In one dream, a DC was floating in the air and TOLD me "This is a dream." !

      P.S. It's all written in my DJ if you are curious.

      I need some help with recognising dream signs too !

      Yep, this is a big problem for me too.
      How to condition ones dream mind to recognize dream signs?

      There may be some hints in the tutorial section, but I don't have the time to check right now.

      Hello, I think what you've got to start doing is reality checking in real life. Everytime you see something strange in the waking world do a reality check (reality check by doing something like plugging your nose). It may be something as small as talking to someone you haven't talked to in a while, but by reality checking in real life everytime something out of the ordinary happens you'll start to do whilst dreaming as well...
