      Firs/Second Lucid Experience

I just had a chain of about 5 LD's... This was my second ever experience so I was in awe, they were WILD's. 5 Minutes ago I awoke from the last one, I'll start from the beginning.

At 11 PM I went downstairs to watch UFC with my dad. He was asleep, so I layed on the other couch and watched. I got tired after about 30 minutes so i rolled over and tried to sleep, I couldn't so I tried to watch TV again. I was there for about a minute and I started feeling like I was being rapidly shook, vibrating. I noticed that in a few seconds I would be lucid because my first LD was when I freaked out during the transition from waking life to the dream world, I got too scared. Anyway, in the lucid, I was laying on the same couch because I could see a background color but my vision seemed like it was cut vertically into thirds, so this is what it looked like | | | Like I was seeing it was just all split up. When I turned my dream head/body my vision wasn't changing. I closed my eyes and yelled in my head "LET ME SEE!!!" Or something along those lines. I opened my eyes and I could see, I could see my basement and my stairs and my brothers bed room. Then I came out of it and I came up here to right this.

Remember all that I just wrote was seperated by awaking and WILD'ing with the vibrations about every 15 seconds. (It was either me completely waking up and going back into the WILD or it was a false awakening, can anyone determine which it was?) Also, I was rubbing my hands constantly to make sure I didn't lose it, which I did, unless it was just FA's.

The whole time I was thinking "I don't want to keep coming to this room! I want to go outside to an open field with this girl I like and just mess around, learning to fly and such" But I kept coming back to that same room. All in all, I think the experience was EXACTLY what I needed. I can't wait to try it again tomorrow and I would WBTB tomorrow morning but I've already lost too much sleep as it is.

      Thanks for reading guys!

That sounds amazing. I've been trying WILD for ages with no luck, well done!

(It was a bit hard for me to understand, so sorry if this makes no sense I don't think what you described was a false awakening, it sounds like you had a dream, woke up in an extremely sleepy state and that made you WILD again. Good grief two WILDs... how I envy you. Next time you become lucid, lock your doors...

A false awakening is where you believe that you are awake but then realize that you are in another form of consciousness. You wake up IN your dream and an occurrence in the dream tells you that you are in fact still in a dream state.

If you thought/acted as tho you had woken up but then actually woke up.. it was a FA. Only you can truly determine whether you thought you had woken up and then slipped into a WILD or simply had a FA.

      Whatever it was.. congratulations!

Hehe, thanks. Except it wasn't just 2 LD's it was like 3 or 4 in a row. I still am unable to determine wether they were FA's or not, but it's not too important.

It was all involentary too, I didn't mean to WILD. O_O

I was just hit with an amazing possibility. I think this was an OBE. I mean, I tried to go to a different place, but I always stayed in that room.

Someone said that the "vibrations" I was feeling was me leaving my physical body. I never would have believed I was having an OBE, so I never turned around to look and see if I could see my physical body or if I looked different or anything like that. My mind was going crazy with the fact that I just "WILD'd" so I didn't have time to do anything or think thoroughly.

Is this being an OBE a possibility?

To me it sounds more like a WILd than an OBE but I don't know much about OBEs. You can't post this thread again in the Beyond Dreaming forum ( ) but you can do the next best thing - ask the members who post there a lot. Send them some PMs about it, or a link to this thread.
