Smile I love you guys!! FIRST LUCID DREAM!! WOO

      I am so freaked out!!

Last night I decided to research lucid dreaming as I was really bored and I recalled someone telling me about it and it sounded cool.

Well I ended up spending 4 hours reading all these articles about it and some of the posts on dream view, and I felt certain I would have a dream, I was in like a total detereminded trance like mood! lmao.

Anyway, I went to bed telling myself I would have have one!! And I DID!!

It was soooooo wierd all I could see was playdough everywhere, in the shape of mountians and trees and It was like a light bulb had been turned on in my mind! I was like "OH "F" I'm "F'in" dreaming!" and I was just paralysied looking at this lanscape in total awe.

The best bit was still to come, a plasic red, toy like helecopter landed beside me and I just got in, it was like I wasn't in control of my body but I knew what was happening.

It keep going up and going up and I was like " This is just how they all described it! It's AWSOME!!" and I thought I want to jump off, cos nothing can happen to me.

Then it got really scary...I sort of jumped and closed my eyes, but then a really weird thing happened my stomach just went! Like when your on a rollercoaster and then all I could hear was things wissing past me but it was all black and I couldn't breath so I started to get really scared. :S

I thought...what happens if you die in a dream? Do you just die? And it really freaked me out, but then I just thought, "Remain calm, like they say in that dream view thing, try and remember what they said about flying!"

And I just made myself feel really heavy and I just slowed down.

After that I woke up really shaken.

But the experience has been really good and I want to do it again.

      Cheers!!

      Mwha Mwha.

Congratulations, and welcome to Dream Views!

And, no, don't worry about dying. Nothing will happen to you, in waking life. You'll either just wake up, "respawn" back into the dream, or just hit the ground and stand right back up. Many of us have died numerous times in dreams.

      Here's to many more LD's.

      Playdough...nice.

I think I remember eating playdough once, no dream.
If there really is no spoon...then how am I to eat my fruitloops?!!?

      Congrats.
      Playdough, thats interesting, haha.

I know that feeling of getting scared of things happening in the real world. I've never been afraid of dying for real, but I've obsessed about many other things. Like what if I'm sleep walking around and actually acting out my dream? If I try and do something weird I'll embarrass myself if anyone is watching. Then I wake up, find myself still in bed and kick myself for not doing something interesting.

Try do some major falls just for the hell of it in future dreams. It'll help get over the fear, and they're really fun. I became lucid while I was flying once, so I let myself drop. It was a few hundred meters to the ground and I got the stomach in my throat feeling but landed on my feet and just walked away like nothing happened. It was awesome.
