      Weirdest thing...

Last night I had a lucid dream, but it was almost as if my subconscious didn't want me to lucid dream. I went lucid but from then on it was very hard to move. I started to yell "clarity now" and "I'm in control" only to have my mouth sewn shut.

      Very weird, and slightly disturbing.

I WILDed after I woke up though (stayed home sick today) and everything was normal with my lucidity.

i think you can be right about the subconscious don't want to LD. cuz then wouldn't you normally forget the dreams and see a cat explode in front of you and just igonre it as if it was everyday life with exploding cats.
i think i have heard that before that the subconscious don't want to LD, it want to dream about whatever it likes to. i don't know if that true but i think i've heard that subcouscious thing.

Vegan, maybe your subconscious only wanted you to have calm peaceful restful sleep since you were sick and that's why it was hard for you to move and your mouth was sewn shut.

I've had that problem where I just can't seem to get any words out. Usually it goes away in a minute or so. I always think it's because my real body is trying to talk, but is paralyzed, and somehow I feel that in the dream.

It might have had something to do with you being sick. I know I have the most intense and somewhat disturbing dreams when I have a fever.
