      Ugh. I Blew It.

My first lucid dream in...like...EVER without my guide there laying next to me, and I totally blew the opportunity to get up and take a look around my lucid world.

I almost missed the dream sign that got me into my lucid moment, which was actually my mother asking about automatic writing, and sort of prompting me to say "lucid dream". Seriously, if I had missed THAT, I would have been pissed.

I didn't think I'd end up having a lucid dream last night. My cat was a horrible little sljgnlagnlasgln!!! Kept coming to my door, meowing and scratching at it. But yes. I managed to wake myself up at 3am without the need for an alarm, but it took me several hours to go back to sleep because of the cat.

I'm pleased to note that I made my first reality check in my dream, and putting my finger through my palm was quite fun. I was then watching my legs raise up so I could try and roll out of bed, but my vision started to go. So I said something along the lines of "Give me my sight", but instead of that happening, this loud whistling started up, like a kettle. It scared the bejeezus out of me, so I ended up calling for my guide to get me out of there, like an idiot.

I'm not entirely sure that it was him, though. I felt myself get lightly rolled onto my side, but his presence is usually a lot stronger than that. It may have been Jehanne, my female one. I hope it was. I haven't had the chance to meet her in lucid dreams yet.

Ugh. I'm so pissed at myself for blowing that opportunity. Even though I knew that some people experience that whistling, I freaked out anyway. =[

Oh well. Next time, I guess.

Noske, don't be so hard on yourself! Hearing a loud whistling sound for the first time would startle anyone. Now if you ever hear it again, hopefully it won't freak you out as badly.

Why not let the cat come in and sleep with you? I can sympathize though. Sometimes my cat Wonton gets what we call the "Midnight Crazies" (which actually happen more like 4 am), where he runs around like a lunatic, rug-surfs across the tile floor and thumps into the bathroom cabinet, ect. These runs usually include a leap onto the bed and a run up the bed to "tag" me by pouncing on my long hair (as it must be some kind of creature that needs killing).

He WAS sleeping in with me. Right until the same time that I woke up at 3am. Then it was in, out, meow, scratch, get me this, get me that, scratch scratch, meow meow, in, out, meow, scratch, GO TO SLEEP YOU STUPID ANIMAL! He didn't even stop when it got light outside. He was STILL annoying me.

      -Takes deep breaths.-

I guess that's what I get for trying to plot against my guides and have a bit of fun annoying them. Getting their own back before it starts. Rargh.

My dreams just freak me out, sometimes. I'm not entirely sure whether it was completely the whistle's fault. Might have been that I very nearly saw my mother naked. O_<! -Twitch-

That was freaky. I don't know how that happened. I just do a realitly check, and then BAM, I've got this whistling and half naked people. WTF.

OH MY GOD THE CAT IS BACK AGAIN! LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU FEROCIOUS BEAST!

UGH. That dnglasiknglksnkling cat didn't even leave me alone through the day. Several times he came back wanting in and out all the time. Mum was shitted as well because he was so annoying that night.

Thankfully though, he only scratched at my door once to come in last. Slept on my bed most of the night, then I just had to let him out with my eyes half closed once he was done. Unfortunately no lucids dreams, though. Might have been my overwhelming frustration at that animal that helped me. I could be like the incredible hulk of lucid dreamers. Piss me off, and I fall asleep.

I WILL RAIN BIG, GREEN TERROR DOWN UPON YOUR LITTLE DC SOULS!!

Hey, isn't that what Lucid Dreaming is all about? =] We all have overactive imaginations, if we are here on this forum.

Cats can be quite annoying at night. My cat Yuki likes to come in my room to sleep then later on he tries to open the door by putting his paw under it. Then I have to stop him( or he'll tear up the carpet and my mom will get mad at me...), let him outside so he can use the bathroom, let him back in, then I go back to bed. Yuki likes milk(like most cats do) and he begs me for some so I give it to him to shut him up...usually he wants more afterwards and starts to beg again....I want a dog....

Lol. On top of the cat clawing at my door, I occasionally get the dog starting to bark. He usually just howls during the day. He's a real mama's boy. He can't stand it when mum goes to work for the whole day. Gets all sad and lonely.

That's the bad thing about where I live. Instead of living in the actual house, I live in a little one room cabin thing out in the backyard. So I can't kick the cat outside, and away from my door, because he already IS outside. So if he wants to get into my room or into the house, he scratches at the door. So I put him inside. Then mum kicks him back out when he scratches on her door. So he comes back to mine to get me to let him back into the house. =[

      It never ends!

He's wonderful, though. But I once had a rather realistic dream about strangling him and stabbing him with a pencil. I tried to snap his neck, but it didn't work. He just kept getting hurt. I don't know why I had that dream, but it was crazy. There was a chicken in it that murdered people.

Needless to say, I was nice to the cat after that dream.

I know what you mean about the cat, my Shadow's always running in and out, doing that cat thing where she repetedly claws you in the same spot, and lays on me when I'm in an uncomfortable position. But I love her and she usually helps me relax. And trust me a dog isn't much better.

Hum. I think I had a semi lucid dream last night. But once again, I pulled myself out of it. I felt like there was this hand on the back of my head. But it wasn't that good feeling like I usually get with my guide. I was mostly awake, I think. Telling myself "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming." so it got a little stronger.

I never did a reality check like the finger through palm or anything, but I managed to grab this thing's thumb and tried to pull it away from my head. But it still felt like the rest of it was there. So I just woke myself up.

      =/ Didn't like that one.
