Ugh, I'm stupid!

Well, I just have to tell someone about me and my stupidity.

Right, so I was lying in my bed trying to WILD when I must have accidentally fell asleep. So now I'm in a bus stop in my dream that kind of looks like my school's one. My feelings of trying to WILD must have passed over into the dream so for some reason I though it would be a good idea to try and WILD in the packed bus stop.

Then I think, wait a minute, WILD, wasn't I just trying to do that. So I pinch my nose shut and try to breathe. I can, but I just think WOW! That is cool! And I continue on in the dream without becoming lucid. Stupid, stupid me! But wait, there's more. I decide I should WILD under one of the benches, so I curl down under one of them.

It's pretty uncomfortable so I reach up into a bag above me and pull out a crown and rest my head on it. A bloody crown! And I still didn't become lucid. I continue on in the dream and for some reason, the crown is helping me WILD. So soon I start to hear weird noises and see things. I see a man, who looks like he's looking into a mirror. He's kind of blurry. I think, wow, he's hot, I want to get into that dream. But then I think, Hey! I'm not gay. Why do I think he's hot! But then I remember, Oh yeah, I'm a girl. I still didn't get lucid. WHAT!! GARR! I'm not a girl! Stupid brain! So I continue trying to WILD in my dream.

For some reason, I have a strange urge to open my eyes(in the dream.) But they're stuck shut. I manage to open them and I see the bus stop again, Why did I do that! I was so close. So I go back to trying to WILD. Soon I see the man and the mirror again. He's a lot clearer now. I'm trying to push myself into the dream when I hear a lot of high-pitched screaming. Then BAM! I feel about 10 bodies pile on me who continue to scream. For a moment I'm like: What the hell! But then I think: Oh yeah it's just my netball team. NETBALL!!

I've never played netball in my whole life! But in the dream, this passes for normal. I STILL don't become lucid.

I soon feel the weight come off me and I continue trying to WILD. But my concentrations broken. I just don't have the energy for it any more. I get up and walk away. Then I wake up. I can't believe I didn't become lucid! I am now VERY angry. GAH!

LOL! That hilarious.

But seriously, don't beat yourself up over it, happens all the time. Our mind are so used to thinking about lucid dreaming, that we begin to do it within' dreams and our dream logic allows it without us picking up on it. That was a very humorous situation though.

I keep talking about lucid dreams in my dreams, but don't become lucid. I also tried to WILD once... while sitting ON A TOILET! like... wtf?

That's a pretty crazy dream, Kiza.

And that's funny-- I thought of your recent dreams too, Hiro.

Yeah, Kiza, I wouldn't feel too bad about it. It happens to a lot of us. Like Hiro said, it's because we are thinking about LDing a lot. It makes sense that it works itself into our dreams.

It can be frustrating. But I feel that it's good because at least LDing is on our minds, and we are bound to figure it out at some point and become lucid.

Thanks Hiro and Twoshadows. That makes sense about thinking about LDing in real life all the time, so it carries over into your dreams.

I also tried to WILD once... while sitting ON A TOILET! like... wtf?

I know it sucks, but I'd be happy if I could get that far in a WILD. The fact that you can do that means that you will be able to WILD successfully if you keep practicing.
