      breakin' ze dry spell...almost

Another day-nap trip. I swear by the coffee method.

Went to sleep and caught some sleep paralysis right there on the brink of spilling over into actual sleep. Usually, since I can't stand SP, I wake myself up just out of habit and then adjust my position and then shut my eyes again. This time something different happened and instead I saw SP as a kind of curtain or waterfall of energy that I could effectively walk through. So I did, BLAM, right into a lucid.

First things first, let's walk through the window. Did that bit, which reminded me those medical scanners that draw a neon line across your body head-to-toe and back again. Once outside there was too much scenery to take it all in so I just figured I'd keep trying to walk through things. Found some fenceposts and here's where I lost the dream - because I lost confidence... try as I may, I could not get my friggin arm through the fence post. Just didn't work at all

Torcher, congratulations on your day-nap lucid dream.

Was this nap in the morning or the afternoon? I take it the "coffee" method is tp drink a cup of coffee and then go to sleep?

You actually answered you're own question btw.. you couldn't go through the fence post and lost the dream because you lost confidence.

Remember, there is no "try" when you're lucid.. only "do". You must KNOW that there is nothing you can't have nor perform while in your dream.

Good job,Torcher, on breaking the dry spell.

That was great that you were able to walk through the window. Let positive experiences like that help you to have confindence to do the other things that you wantto do. Everything is possible if you just expect it to happen.
