      Lucid but in Lala land

Last night I had an LD, but it was a weird LD. To shorten up the dream, I went to see the forth Harry Potter film at the movies and realized it wasn't real because the title and story were different (plus it hasn't even been filmed yet). But I didn't preform a RC straight away. It was like I was in LALA land . When I got back home I read a piece of paper twice, and the letters were scrambled the second time (even though I sortof knew beforehand that I was dreaming). I started floated but realized that that's all I do in my LDs, so I decided to try to focus on my environment. I focused on a blue pot that became clearer and crisper in color and complextion. Since it was the end of my REM cyle, I was losing vision and soon woke up.

I usually preform RCs immediately after questioning reality, but in my dream it was like I wanted to wait until I got home and was unconcerned that I was dreaming. Has this happened to you too?

hmm...I dont think I have had a similar experience. were you hesitant because you were thinking someone might ask what you were doing. that oculd be the case

i have had a case of false awakening where i have waited a while to check reality

i notice that the more i think about lucid dreaming during the day the more i will have it during the night.
