      Talking Lucid Dream Techniques/Experiences

So far I have had several lucid dreams and I'll explain some experiences.

My first ever lucid dream, I remember being in a room (not sure if it was mine), I remember all of a sudden thinking of reality checks and at this time I was not a frequent lucid dreamer since I had somewhat given up on it. I then looked at my hand and use one of my most used reality checks which is looking at my hand and checking if it doesnt look deformed or anything or if it has less or more than five fingers. So after this I quickly realized I was dreaming and then I went outside and I noticed it was dark and then I just suddenly remembered some of the techniques that I had read on the web and one of them was imagining the "invisible staircase" which is a bit self-explanatory. So as I climbed the stairs I then did a high jump and I flew, and it was just AWESOME since it was my first time.

A more recent dream that I had, I kind of had a plan set-up which was teleporting to Colombia, my beloved hometown, so once I became lucid in this dream I decided to use a technique of stabilization and also a dream which sometimes turns out to bring the dreamer to another scene, so I quickly thought of this and I used it to my full advantage. I teleported to Medellin, Colombia and I dont remember much about actually seeing anyone, but I did end up in my balcony and I then flew above the city lights and it looked beautiful, but unfortunately it was at night and I couldnt see other things or like fly down and walk around.

After this I remember using my "teleporting" technique A LOT, I even used to it teleport away from a certain scene that I didnt like but next time I'm planning of taking more time to think about where I want to be so the scene comes out better. Im also planning on working on changing the scene so for instence changing night time to daylight.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Interesting dreams... maybe you would want to make it daytime? All you have to do is think of it becoming daytime and it just sort of washes the night away. At least that's what's happened to me.

I think you're doing pretty fantastic on your own.

I'm really impressed by the way you're able to recall while in your dream methods/techniques that you've read and then use those memories to get things done and move about your dream landscape!

As far as changing the dream from night to day.. you could try going through a closed door KNOWING that it will be daylight on the other side or you could declare confidently "increase daylight!" or something similar.
