Phone Call WOOHOO!!!!

Don't ya just feel GREAT after waking up from a successful LD?!?!? Ahhhhhhhhh...anyway, sorry if this one's a BIT on the lengthy side of not short: Well I just took a quick nap, and I dreamt I was taking the bus to my old job (crap old chef job). ::Note: for some reason I was carrying my digital camera:: Anyway, I realised I had missed my stop, so I panicked and got off just one stop too far. When I got out of the bus, I was like "Arrrrghhhh, not THIS job again.....OHHH I'm dreaming YAAAAAY!!!" And it was at that point that I had a false awakening: I felt myself in my bed with my eyes still closed, and felt like I had just woken up...BUT I could feel my digital camera still hanging from my arm. HAH evil trick, GOTCHA!!! I'm still DREAMING!!! So I wondered what would happen if I took a picture with it. I pointed it at myself and tried twice, but no flash or picture. Oh well, so I still felt myself in my bed, and on the verge of waking up, so I calmly and slowly got out of bed, and I was instantly back on the street where I had gotten off the bus. So I went into the closest shop, which just had some giant Winnie the Poohs and a bunch of random shit. So I thought this is already getting borning, let's have some fun. I will summon someone to play with! The first image that popped into my head was this guy who recently jilted me....but I thought, NAH, why do that to myself? So then I thought, I'm going to summon my good friend Jordan from Canada. I tried and tried, but it wouldn't work. I kept asking all theese random faceless people in the shop, "Are you Jordan?" "Uhhh...no?" So I panicked and searched for a phone. Never tried the phone technique before in an LD, but I remembered like a good little girl about trying it. So I found the phone, and ACTUALLY asked the lady if I could use it (HAHA I'm even polite in my LDs, go figure...). She said sure and punched some buttons and handed me the receiver. Then I realised, awwwwwwww crap, I don't even know his number....do I make one up or what? But as soon as I took the receiver, it began ringing. Then a guy's voice answered: "Hello?" "HEY! Is this Jordan?" "Yeah..." "It's me, Lisa!!!!!! Where are you?" "I'm in Canada, where'd you think?" *laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaughter* "Well, I figured that since I'm lucid dreaming, I could summon you here, but it didn't wooooooooooork... " *incoherent mumbling* Then I woke up.....but happy! I was just so happy the phone thing worked at all! And that I chose a friend over a damaging ex. What a treat!!!

Thats awesome... Do you recall if the voice on the other end was really his or not? So... when you pick up the phone in a dream to call someone, the person you wanted to call always picks up the phone aswell? too bad you cant take that digital camera from your dreams and download the pictures onto your waking life computer :-) That would be an invention I would be interested in!

So it's quite astonishing that I could talk to him on the phone after never having heard his voice before, OR even knowing his phone number! congrats phones... i have had expirience with a phone in an LD, but when i put my ear to the phone everything went perfectly silent, then when i took it away i could hear again, so i ended up punching the machine and then getting punched by the person waiting to use the public payphone i was using

I used the phone in a lucid dream the other day. I had to add the middle row of numbers and it took al ittle time(4,5,6), and i used a different phone after that and there were just random numbers. The first one worked though and i called someone.
