      Exclamation WILD on accident!

Ok, this is kinda a long story, but I guess I have to start somewhere.

I woke up with painfull menstrual cramps. I walked into the kitchen, and took two ibuprofen pain killers. I went back to sleep, and imagined this A sales man was standing near a canvas with a drawing of a back. The back was in pain. He put a sheet over the canvas, and rubbed it. He took off the sheet, and the back wasn't in pain anymore I imagined this over and over again, just to try to make the pain go away.
Well, about five minutes later, I felt a shift in my consiousness. The same feeling I get near the end of a FILD. I thought Oh crap. I just want to fall asleep! No do a WILD! After about 2 seconds, my vision was filled with a star with many points. It was very rainbow-y and beautiful. So this is what HI is like, I thought. Soon after, I heard loud, construction site-like noises, and my legs started to shake violently. After 5 seconds of this, I was in my dream.

It started in a long, dark, hallway. There were many doors. Each door had a name on it. I found a door with my name on it, and tried to open it, but it was locked. A large, purple, hand reached over my shoulder and unlocked it. I went in. The room was pitch black. I yelled "LIGHTS! ON!" The lights flickered. I could see a little bit better now. I found a lightswitch. I turned it on, and the lights flickered again. I could see perfectly now, but it was dark. On the other side of the room, a man was teaching a class to a bunch of students in fuzzy chairs. I walked over to them. They couldn't see or hear me. Then I woke up.

Isn't that wierd?! I had NO intentions of even attempting a WILD. And that crazy dream too? Do you think the painkiller had something to do with it?

Lucky break It sounds like you set up the perfect situation to WILD, even if you did it unintentionally. The Wake Back To Bed, the visualization, the physical discomfort. Write down what time you woke up, and how long you stayed up for. This may be your magic hour for future WILDs.

I think I woke up at about 5:30. But I can't really remember. It was a couple nights ago :/

I have tried to WILD on purpose, with no avail. Then when I'm just trying to go to sleep and put myself out of my misery, I have a WILD.

I'm just wondering if you could pinpoint what you did right this time, and reproduce it. Maybe the timing? Maybe the discomfort? Maybe the fact that you were letting yourself fall asleep? You've got to jump on these things and take advantage of them.
