I also posted this in the Newbie Forum... so if you've already read it, it'd be a waste to do it all over again.

As the title suggests, this is really long. And that is even after I made it as short as possible.

I'm sort of tempted to start work on writing a movie version of this!
This dream is more or less of a continuation of several dreams I have had in the past. Those (this or that, depending how you look at it... I guess) dreams were not unlike those of the "Legend of Zelda" games.
I went back in time to medieval times (not a part of the dream, I started out IN medieval times) for some mission. For that entire part of the dream (and it was VERY VERY long. Trust me, you don't want the details) I had some sort of mission, that revealed itself over time. But anyway, much like a platforming video game (Mario, etc.) My only mission was to get from one side of the "map" or area to the other.
So I do a bunch of (like I mentioned before) "Legend of Zelda" styled puzzles, and I get to the other side of the area (an underground cavern, yet all the floors are covered in healthy grass, and sunlight still streams in). So when I get there I'm greated by some sort of Mafia styled mob. I dispatch them (not sure how, I may have killed them, or simply tricked them) but in the end, I did get around them. And the people who had recently started following me (some sort of "chosen" people, not unlike Moses, or in the aforementioned book "Red") are led into some sort of teleport... thing. I don't know because I don't end up in the same place that they do.

NOW ONTO THE INTERESTING PARTS!!!

So. Much like in the first "Narnia" movie (not sure about the books) I walk out of a (only slightly) snowy woods. Now that I've thought about this (after waking up) I realize that this IS my hometown! Probably because of the recent Sugar Maple Festival (I was walking around everywhere that weekend, so it makes sense that it would be in a dream). But there was something very different about my beloved home town. There were aliens. EVERYWHERE! But in some sort of "Star Wars"-esque way, they were acting civil, like people might.

*Begin slight Lucidity*
So I'm going around the town (not doing much of anything), until I happen upon a mugging. In my head I was formulating a plan (I felt quite bad ass) to help the victim. I run up, and strike the assailant in the head, knocking him (or her, or... it... ehh) out. At this point I assume the victim has gotten away. But I had other things to worry about.
It was time for an alien biology lesson.
Even if it is in the shape of a humanoid, DOES NOT mean that is "brain" is in its "head". Nor does that mean that striking said "head" will the alien be "knocked out".
So now I had a very annoyed alien. And did I mention it had a gun?
It started to bring that out, and then I instinctively went all Krav Maga on his alien arse. As you're supposed to do, I grabbed the top of his handgun, and turned it around so now he was in danger, and I now had the better grip. I got the gun from him, and now had the advantage. But remembering my 101 class from earlier, I didn't know how to actually subdue, or at least knock out (or the alien equivalent) my aggressor. So I shot him twice in the head. And then I left (probably in a hurry).
For the next bit, now assuming that I was a "wanted man", I basically shot anyone who might be a threat.
Which I guess wasn't a very good idea... as I found out later.

*Lesser Lucidity*

Going back the way I came from (all the snow has been gone ever sine I saw the mugging, and now it is pretty sunny outside) I reached the place this had all started from. Apparently it was a bike-path going into very thick woods. Anyway... some very "I am Legend" type of guy (Hell, for laughs let us assume it was Will Smith. I don't really remember very specifically what any of the people in my dream looked like).
He intercepted me, and for much of the story until the end, I am mostly tagging along with Will Smith and later someone else (not sure who he or she was. She just shows up later) until the end of the dream.
So... I get in trouble because "(...) You killed the Morgoat (pronounced "More Go At")?" says Will Smith
"You mean that 'funny business' (as I called it... tee hee) in town?"
"Yeah... well that wasn't such a good idea"

Apparently the Morgoats are religious oracles or something like that.
Regardless... it was a bad thing.

So I go (with my new ally[s]) to a bus station. We get onto a school bus (apparently I'm apart of a prophesy in a very Half Life 2 like world) which in the future can apparently go about a bajillion miles per hour. At least this super secret one does.
Anyway, after doing a bunch of cool jumps and ramping off a bunch of stuff, we get to some secret base. Ironically called "Valve" (like the people who made the game Half Life) and I sort of stand by while my company handles stuff. (When I tried to use one of the many computers, apparently someone was already in session with it, so I got kicked off. But at least people in the future tend to handle things like this politely...) Anyway... we leave for another fun bus ride. Which ends with some sort of crash, and then we have to run to get to the Morgoats. Anyway... at some point during this I traded my Colt .45 (what I got from the alien that I mentioned earlier... except I think that it fired lasors. Instead of bullets. But now that I think about it, when I checked the clip it DID have bullets in it.) for Will Smiths infamous M4. Yay! Except it didn't have the attachments on it. And sadly it was blue. But I only accepted the trade because Will was complaining about carrying it or something...
Anyway, we keep on going... and at one point in time we are at this big building that sort of looks like a train station. Upon leaving it, I finally realize 100% that I am, indeed, dreaming.

*Ratchet up the Lucidity A LOT*

So I sort of run around in a circle in my excitement. And then I fly in the air for a bit (not in a dis-similar way to how Dwight Schrute flies in Second Life) and then land to tell my buddies about my new found powers!
but then I wake up.
And spent about ten hours writing all this (on paper, then here).
*sad face*
