      First Real Lucid Dream!

I had a mini lucid dream before, but this is the first one that I had control in!
It started off my friend and I sitting at a table and there were a bunch of people around us, and he says "this feels like a dream" or something like that, and that's when I realized it. To confirm that it was, I jumped really high. Then I flew for a bit which was easier than expected. I landed in the same spot and it felt a bit fuzzy. I rubbed my hands together (God knows how I remembered that) and it got a little clearer, but not the amazing rainbow sky that I've heard of. After that I flew over a fence and found a big hot tub of naked women. I didn't really have any sexual encounters, but things after that kinda get hard to remember.

Either way it was a good first experience and I hope that first time makes it easier to have more!

Congrats on your first lucid dream with control!

Both dreams and lucid dreams vary when it comes to clarity and vividness. But as you already know, rubbing your hands together usually does help anyways.

      May you have many more!

Congratulations! I have been lucid dreaming for nearly a year now and I still remember my first lucid dream. It's like your first orgasm in a way... all of the lucid dreams after that are still great, but they can't compare at all to the first one.
      Love is lucid.

Why do people feel you need control for the dream to be lucid because the actual defenition of a lucid dream is a dream were you know you're dreaming.

Oh and congrats on having a lucid dream were you had control I hope I get another one soon.

Congratulations! That was really cool. It's great how you got Lucid from a DC mentioning that it was a dream. I was just on a thread yesterday talking about that kind of thing happening. It's happened to me a few times.

      Welcome to the forum!

Hopefully the dreams following will be more vivid. I still need to work on my dream recall. There will be times when I set my alarm for 90 mins after I go to bed and in the morning I can't even remember turning it off haha.

Alarm clocks work TOO well for me. Once I hear it I sit up automatically. It doesn't wake me with the noise it scares me awake and I hate it. Its all BEEP BEEP BEEP! It scares the CRAP out of me. I wake up naturally though with no alarm clock so I don't use one.

The BEEP BEEP BEEP is a lot better than a bell... now those will freak you out. (I only used the bell one once... went back to the wake-me-up-half-the-time digital after that.)
