      Young and controlled

I'm only sixteen but for about a year now i've been able to control my dreams - not very well at all. Believe me or not but my doctor told me to try lucid dreaming to control my bladder (weak bladder=wet bed...lets not get into that). So i did and it worked. I could wake myself up from my dreams so i could go to the bathroom...embaressing yes. It first started small like i could turn on the room light and most of the time it was blurry. But now i can practically do what i want to do in my dreams. Its sort of nice knowing there is somewhere were things always go your way. I'm still young, i know, but i'm so happy i can do that. I wonder how normal it is to do it at a young age. Any one?

      Hi, Mystery. Welcome to Dreamviews.

Theres a practical application of lucid dreaming if I've ever heard one. It seems like you must have a pretty cool doctor. I wonder if he/she has any experience with lucid dreaming.

Supposedly your teenage years are peak dreaming time. People seem to have fewer dreams as they grow older. I think you will find a lot of members here are teenagers, or joined in their teens.

I'm interested to hear what kinds of induction techniques you use, and what sort of information your doctor gave you.

Wow that is awesome to hear a therapeutic use of lucid dreaming that was successful! I had my first lucid when I was 16, but I was never able to have them again until recently, so it's been about 3 years. Your doctor sounds awesome, too!

Thats great, my doctor looked at me like I was on acid when I asked him about LDs. Good to know that LDs are becoming more widely recognized by those in the medical field. Anywho, I would love to know some of your techniques, please post 'em.
