      Recurring Lucid Dreams

Hey guys, im new to the forums and was wonderin if you could maybe 'interpret' a dream for me. But before I jump into that ill give you all a bit of a background story...

About a month ago I met a really nice girl, she was everything I could ever ask for. Anyways, we started talking and hanging out, and after a couple weeks she told me she had a boyfriend the whole time. The boyfriend is a polar-opposite of the girl, he smokes, does drugs, drinks, you name it.. shes pretty much an angel. Our last conversation about a week ago she told me we couldnt see each other anymore because while I was an amazing person, she wasnt the type of girl to cheat on her boyfriend which i understood. I didnt have a problem with letting her go but since then ive been getting some wierd dreams. Anyways.... here goes....

When I dream I am always saving a girl (who I think is her) from some sort of fatal tragedy. Once it was a car crash, the other a robbery, and most recently a fire. This has happened for about 2 weeks straight, every night its something different but the end result is the same, as soon as i save her she runs away before I can see her face...

My question for you all is: What does this mean? I think I have the jist of it but i really need some outside opinions, im getting sick and tired of thinking about this... Oh and ive never had a lucid dream, and rarely remember dreams from the night before (I might remember one dream a year).

      Thanks for the input

Wait, so are these lucid dreams, or not?

I think the interpretation is obvious, as much as I despise generalized dream interpretation. You said it yourself- she's an angel, she's with a guy she won't leave for you, the guy is essentially a smoker/drinker/drug user which you consider to the the opposite of an angel... and you want to save her from that situation.

I think the question you need to ask your self is, does she actually need saving? Or is it a situation that she is in because she chooses to be? She may not even consider those things to be bad, as you seem to. But more importantly, I think you need to realize that it is not your responsibility to "save" her anyways.

Yes, these are very lucid dreams, I can control most of my actions. And yeah, I came to basically the same conclusion. I had the same dream again last night, its wierd because i really didnt have a hard time letting go of this girl and these dreams are getting annoying. But what can I do? I guess I just have to let it run its course right?

Well if it's a lucid dream, then you never have to let it run its course. Tell the girl to stop and find out who she is, or something. You can control more than your own actions in a lucid dream!

I'd recommend finding something else to occupy your mind. And also start viewing this as a positive thing. Nightly lucids for two weeks straight? That's awesome!

Well, if it was me, I would die of guilt if I didn't save her from whatever fatal tragedy was about to happen, even if it was a dream...
What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?

Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?
