      WILD? well it was AMAZING.

Wow last night/this morning was AMAZING.
i tried to WILD and i think i almost got into the dream stage but i didnt but anyway listen to this:
first i had the nromal vibrations and mainly only my hands were paralysed and the rest of my body was a bit, then the bed felt asif it was rocking sideways, left and right, like i was a baby in my mother's arms, then i sorta stopped and felt like water below me, the waves got more and more dramatic until eventually i have a MASSIVE wave go under me slowly morphing my whole body out of shape and back into shape, it done this a few times then i felt my toung paralyse (i tried to swallow and it was a bit hard) but thing is i was totally awake through all this, and saw none of those swirly colour i usually see, i think its because my clock across the room was ticking which was keeping me active, this whole thing lasted 10 minutes then i decided to see what would happen if i broke out of it and waved my arms, it was hard and i felt like i had 4 arms but then BAM i was able to move and wasback to normal,
i thought it was amazing so i layed back down and tried again, it worked but wasnt as amazing (not as big effects)
i done it another 3 times that night (WOWlol)
and the last was just as good as the first, and then i just fell asleep i waws tired after that, i didnt get to LD in the end lol
[edit: also my arms felt like they were stretching (real body) and my skin on the tips of my fingers felt tighter (coz it felt like i stretched all the way across the bed)
edit2: my hearing was like 30-40 percent increased
I guess people are not ready for the whole new world that awaits them.

Congrats! Yeah, it is really amazing and extremely distracting when attempting a WILD.

Maybe tonight you will make it all the way into the LD. The final stage for me starts as the vibrations die down. I then feel a gentle sensation as if I am falling slowly into the dream. When this sensation stops, I am in the LD

Don't feel bad. I went through that every night for 3 months. Even after learning how, I still have only a 15% success rate. You should try WILD when there is someone in bed next to you.

Every little movement or noise they make snaps you out of it, but hey, it's nice having someone to snuggle up against at night!

Hey, thats really cool. My guess is that those waves which became larger and larger would eventually swept you into a dream . In my last WILD I was dragged up from the bed into an LD, it was a just increadible feeling .
Keep trying, next time you will make it all the way dude .

yea 293 i tried wild for the second time lastnight and had some of the effects you had, i feel so relaxed and then my arms go numb, and the weirdest thing happened with my arms, wen i first started to be still both my arms were striaght over from me but together and then about what felt like 5 minutes later i thought that sometime i must have moved them cuz one arm was goin down and the other arm was over top ( hard to explain but you get the point ) i didnt see any colours at all eitehr tho, just the odd tiny pieces of lights. but then my head kinda felt like it was moving on my pillow but it wasnt then my legs started to twitch, well i thought they did, i think they twitched once but it felt like they did a bunch of times so i just slowly snapped out of it.

Why would you want to try to do a WILD when someone is in your bed if there's that risk that any movement will jerk you right out? Don't you think that being alone is the best time to attempt a WILD? I agree snuggling is nice but not when you are trying to make progress in the dream realm.

He's married... what's he gonna do... sleep on the couch so he can get a WILD? I don't think he's that desperate (or his he)...

Hehe! I can see how it would unfold:

Seeker - Gee Honey-Bunny, I'll be getting out of bed in the middle of the night to practice WILD. That is OK with you, isn't it?

Mrs. Seeker - *cold frosty silence results*

Believe it or not, I can still WILD, especially in the later parts of the morning when she is in REM state and not moving.

Hey I got a question.. I took a bunch of melatonin last night, just to experiment, so I fell asleep pretty quickly. But I also felt vibrations right away, and it was extremely easy to picture images in my head and make it almost a dream. But it wouldn't be possible to go any further, would it? Since it's the very beginning of NREM...

So do you take Melatonin and then try WILDing w/o previous rest? Just wondering
