      improving skills

Has anyone ever had an LD where they improved mental or physical skills(like what's mentioned in LaBerge's book)?

I've been trying to work on improving my ability to have LDs by planting suggestions in my mind while LDing.
Cannot tell that it is working yet. Oh well, I'll give it another few months...

I think such things would go great with the ability to stop time, one could learn anything in his/her dreams...

Yes, you could learn anything. But...

How would you learn anything new that was not already in your head?

It would be a great chance to work out some logical or philosophical problems though!

It would be cool to be able to somehow organise a shared dream with someone really smart. then they could teach you massive amounts of info in one night.

      good point!

but yah i severely dislocated all three bones in my right arm last june, which i still have somewhat dark bruises, and i can not extend my arm to all 180 degrees, its stuck at like 155 or 160...probly for the rest of my life, unless i re-break it at a hospital, or by my own actions, which i probly will do so i can re-do physical therapy to have full motor ablity...but anyways through lucid dreaming, i hope to get advanced enough over the years, because i hear you can do lucid healing. maybe, maybe not.

I hadn't thought of that. Have you read any of Carl Jung's work on this subject.

That would be a great opportunity to test his theories!

Yet another item for my to do list!
I am going to have to boost my LD rate 10x if I'm ever going to finnish all the things I want to!

Thanks for the great idea! :bravo:

no, not Jung's work. but i've read here and there others referencing Jung. that's on my waking to do list - which is a few miles long. i don't dare to start a dream to do list. it would probably be endless. right now i'm just working on maintaining/prolonging lucidity when i do have LDs, and on having them more often.
