Best WILD yet but not quite there

I have been trying WILDs for a VERY long time. I never had a real WILD though. I had a few WILD type dreams where I would wake up in the middle of the night and go into a dream but never from fully awake.

Well I was just trying a WILD. I must have fallen asleep because I totally forgot about this when I first woke up but I had a short dream between laying down and having the WILD. Anyway after that I remeber I was playing soccer as the goalie. I was fully lucid and I could move around but it didn't really look "real" and all the colors where dull and I had a hard time moving. Its more like viewing the dream than being in it. I only got that far like twice before and I knew I was close to getting into the dream.

So I focused on moving as much as I could so I could get "into" the dream. Every thing started to get darker though then I couldn't see anything so I started running. Everything went totally dark and I couldn't see but I kept running because I really wanted to get into the dream. Then out of no where I hear a dog barking and then everything around me came into view and was very vivid. I was outside still running. I only made it about 10 seconds in the dream before I woke up.

You know, the thing that helped me attain lucidity in my 2nd LD was kind of intersting. I was dreaming that a guy with a white straw in his hand didn't notice the little black thing moving inside, so I wondered what would happen if it came out and entered his arm. So, the viewpoint changed to a close-up of the arm and the black worm-thing coming out. It was like the black worm-thing from the Animatrix mini-film "Matriculated." Anyway, the man's arm became superimposed onto mine and so the thing went into my arm. Then I had it "pull" me forward and it ended up pulling me into lucidity. I actually felt my body kind of falling forward an I could also feel my real physical body at the same time.

So, when you feel semi-lucid, try getting something (a hook, pole, thing) to pull you into lucidity. It's worth a shot and it'd be cool to hear if it worked for someone else.
