In the begining there was flight...
Maybe don't fly up so fast. If you're going through clouds, take the time to imagine yourself flying into outer space. Visualize the stars and moon and planets getting closer...maybe a comet flying by. Make yourself fill in the gaps. That's a cool dream, though! |

Ame has good suggestions. Just take time. Do you read before bed? Reading before going to sleep warms up the imagination (since it's at work playing out the plot and situations), so that less conscious effort may be needed to fill in those gaps in LDs. |

Thanks Amethyst Star! i dont even remember mentioning that i fly upwards so fast, but i was! At breakneck speed even. Ill try slowing it down the next time, though i fear the slower i go, the more ill doubt my flying ability... hmmm we'll see. |

Hehe yeah, I need to take breaks from books too. You just gotta find the right one, there's a bunch of really awesome reads out there. |

I suffered from this ultra-fast flying to lost in the white situation in my last (3rd) LD too (first time flying). Thanks for the tips. I really should not have been flying anyway, considering I haven't gotten down maintaining lucidity yet lol. It was cool though, felt good to do something I wanted for once. |

I've noticed that as well. It is strange that your mind does that to you. I've also found that flying too high results in loss of lucidity for me. It is almost as if I need to constantly see detail and examine things close up in order to maintain lucidity. |
