      Question is this normal??

I recently had a DILD (my first one) but it was unlike any dream I've ever had.

This was my third ever lucid dream. I was on my bus going to school. I wondered why I was on my bus when i never remember talking to my friends at the bustop. i look at my hand and I realize i have 6 fingers.

      cue licidity.

I try to keep my cool. because I read that getting exited is liable to wake you up. The bus stopped and I'm about to get off and explore when I wake up!

      Crap.

This is the wierd part. when I woke up and I was about to write in m journal, I start getting head pain. My head was throbbing for no apparent reason. has this happened to anyone else here? This hasnt happened in any other dream I've had scince then, and hasnt hapened before that either.

      Explanation? or just odd occurance?

      yeah its normal

ive had 4 LD's and none hve lasted longer than 2 or 3 minutes

i think its just a matter of practice, and self control, next time i get one i will try to remain calm, and just soak in the environment as if its real

I assume you are talking about the headache. No I have never had it. Are you sure you didn't hit your head in your sleep? Maybe you had a lucid hangover (something I just made up). Don't worry, I doubt it will ever happen again.

I'd go out on a limb and say it was pure coincidence. It's likely, for whatever reason, you had a headache already and you were somewhat sedated from the sleep paralysis and thus the pain was delayed.
