Anyone else get this??

I got my son to try to look at his hands as a way to get him to become lucid. He told me in the morning (and he was very amazed too) that he was dreaming and remembered me telling him to examine his hands. They were glowing he said.

So, black, white, bright light glowing.. the fact that you saw your hands differently is all that matters not the color it was while dreaming. Looking at my hands doesn't work anymore (it use to).

in 1 of my dream my arms were dark red

i dunno my hands are always normal color when i look at em in dreams.... usually i hafta stick my finger thru it to become lucid

I dont know about colors but i know i got 6 fingers on each hand

Ha. Before I started to seriously look for my hands in LDs, when I saw them they were usually deformed or not even my hands. A couple of times they simply disappeared. Quite a disturbing experience. Can't recall if they ever were a different color though, or glowing.

I have had dreams where I was a white person. A couple where I was black, but these were non LDs.

In mirrors, about 3/4 of the time I look different, either haggard, younger or male. Once I looked like a corpse. Never can be sure what a dream will throw at me. Which is fine by me. The stranger the dream the more enjoyable it is.

I still haven't managed to look into a mirror! Was the corpse thing really freaky? or were you just like, oh well. It's weird how sometimes the most horrible dreams don't seem to have that horror feel, but others which don't sound that scary feel horrible.

That's funny I've never noticed any difference in my hands and I look at them all the time, they look the exact same as the physical world.

In one dream they were like my xbox countroler. It was fun as i could pull out a gun out of nowhere just by pressing the right buttons. Although i didnt see my hands clearly.

I haven't had something exactly like that but I have had drastic appearance changes in dreams before. I don't know why it happens but I just accept it.

BTW, the only time that I remember I had different appearance that was different enough to shock me was when in a dream I was a lawyer who got framed in court and found myself [sometime later] as a guy begging for money in NYC during the winter time (which sucked by the way, for not only was it very weird to be a guy, I had a beard, burnt my leg on a frying pan, then woke up)
