      First Lucid!

So the other morning I my parents woke me up at about 8am to let me know they were both off to work and to remind me about stuff I had to do that day.

Within 5 minutes I'd fallen asleep again.

I was walking out of the front of the house around to the garden, as I was walking across the front garden I looked up at the sky and saw the moon and some dramitic looking clouds. I suddenly thought, "hang on, I was in bed a minute ago, did I just sleep through the whole day? No, I couldn't have" By this point I was through into my back garden thinking, "Holy sh*t! I'm dreaming!"

My first reaction was to rub my hands together (I read that helps improve lucidity, not sure where) although I was so excited that I was lucid, I started to fall over in uber slo-mo and then I woke up.

Just thought I'd let you guys at DV know because if I hadn't ever browsed the site/forums it would've never happened

Cheers guys and gals, here's to many more

congrats on your first man. Yea, I've only had 2 (in 2 weeks of knowing that this is possible)....but I think once you know it's real and completely don't doubt it, it gets better. My first one was 10 seconds, my 2nd was 10 minutes. Don't get freaked out by it or overly excited - you'll lose it. G'luck!
