So, last night I had my first lucid dream since I joined this site and since I kept a DJ, it took me 9 days to get a lucid dream.
It started with me and two skater boys, we went to this party a friend was having, I really didn't recognize the boys from real life, and the girl having the party wasn't even a friend of mine.
Everything in my dream was made of concrete and glass, well, the buildings that is.
I'll just skip to the part where I am becoming lucid. I enter the party room and glanced around, seeing some old friends of mine from school (Just before that I had to use the restroom, So I was still trying to find it) I saw this boy I use to have a crush on and I thought "Oh I'll just come back after I'm done with the restroom so I can mess with him" I think I had already became lucid than, because I wouldn't have bothered him if it was a normal dream. Once I found the restroom I woke up(not a false awakening), fell back asleep and found myself on some stairs. I looked around and thought "I have to get back to the party"
I was trying to walk up when all of a sudden I thought "Whoa, I'm dreaming" right than two guys about 30 were nearly yelling at me, but not in a mad way, they looked like they were trying to tell me something, I ignored them because I became excited that I was dreaming and began to feel my real body. I was like "Oh no!" so I stopped what I was doing and concentrated on the guys face because I didn't know what else to do to stop from leaving my dream. It was gross because the guy had red blotches on his face and he was sweating and since I was concentrating on him it became worse
Everything became more clear and once it did, I walked away from them and up the stairs I continued walking and noticed all the kids from the party were there and saw this girl that always flirted with my crush in school, and I thought "He must be with her" I believed he was, and when I finally got close enough to her, he was standing right there. But than he ran off complaining about how someone messed up his license
Any who, I continued walking for some reason, not bothering with him. I think that's when I began to lose some of my lucidity. I remember the place was concrete and there were monuments everywhere. I saw another boy I crushed on, Chris. He sat with a group of girls. I smiled at him, after he noticed me. I walked over to him, past him and his group because I wasn't sure if I was dreaming anymore. I looked around, but for some reason the unfamiliar place wasn't enough to believe I was dreaming, so I did that finger through hand trick, which I've never done before. It was awesome
I was like "Oh, I am still dreaming" I stared at Chris, walked over to him, knelled down and asked him "Can I talk to you for a second? It's important" Which is stupid cause I could have just grabbed him and took him away from those girls, but I wanted to make it seem real I guess.
He smiled at me and agreed, he got up and we began to walk. I hugged him than, just because I miss him IRL.
and he kissed me on the cheek And I was like and I hugged him tighter.
WORST TIME EVER TO HAVE A FALSE AWAKENING!
It was actually my first false awakening, boy did it suck
It felt like I was in my bed with my eyes closed and my blanket was wrapped around me, as though I wasn't feeling Chris hugging me but the blanket was.
I remember thinking "well, I guess I had to wake up sometime" I got out of bed and ran to my room and told my sister "I had a lucid dream!!!" and she was excited for me, I grabbed my journal and went over to the living room, I skimmed through the pages and on each page there was money taped on it. I really should have known it wasn't real life, but I didn't.
THEN, I really woke up, I looked around and thought "Wait a minute" I thought back on my dream and was like "NOOO!!! I can't believe it" I even tried to finger through the hand trick and it didn't work lol.
I hate false awakenings already.
I really wish I could have done more in my lucid, but I'm actually pretty happy I was just able to stay in my dream longer than a few seconds.
