I came to this site a few days ago while I was trying to figure out the meaning behind a certain dream I had. After two days of reading up on it I went to bed dead set on having a lucid dream. Surprisingly it worked but only briefly. I was shooting a gun at a shooting range when I realized I don't own a gun. I looked up imagined my gun to be automatic and looked back down to see it was. After firing off a couple rounds I lost lucidity but gained it again later that night. I can't remember exactly what tipped me off but upon doing a reality check (I put my finger through my palm---awesome feeling ) everything started to disappear. I tried to focus my thoughts onto one item in the room only everything ended up disappearing but that item. At this point I attempted a dream spin and lost it completely. I think I need to learn to focus more in a dream and not do so much. But it was probably one of the coolest experiences I have had yet.
