Well my friend and I had discussed the idea of shared dreaming and agreed that the next time one of us became lucid we would contact the other and meet up in the dream. I achieved lucidity for the second time last night and after a couple tries with some simple things such as moving objects and having them appear in my hand I established that I was in a pretty stable dream. I took out my cellphone and called him and convinced him to come hang out at which point he just kind of showed up on the spot. It was difficult keeping him with me as his attention span was extremely short so I tried to explain to him that we were dreaming. At that point I was attacked by a neighbors dog. The neighbor wasn't doing anything so I closed my eyes and focused all my energy into my hands and blasted it towards the dog which sent him running back. At this point my buddy I assume became lucid himself but didn't try and alter anything. Through out the dream this friend would disappear and reappear in the same state he had been in prior to becoming lucid and I would have to explain to him again what was going on. We attempted to bring in another friend but he wouldn't believe us that it was a dream. At this point my phone rang and jolted me from my dream so I immediately called the friend I had been dreaming with and asked him what he was doing. He told me he was trying to watch a movie but kept nodding off. I suppose this could explain why he kept disappearing? All in all I'd say it was a pretty cool experience even though he doesn't recall the dream himself. |

DC? (Sorry I'm new to all of this) But once I would explain to him it was a dream he'd generally stick around and have a longer attention span untill he'd suddenly just disappear. |

Dream character. He was just a figment of your imagination. You were forcing this character to say things you expected him to say, but when you stopped focusing on him, he would then do what all dream characters/objects do when you stop focusing on them, which is disappear. |

I want to try this idea too, it would be absolutly amazing if your friend woke up and told you he/she found you in her/his dream....You should tell them a password in the lucid dream and when they wake up they have to tell you the password. |
|
That would be really awesome...good call cause I plan to experiment with this more. |
