      Smile First LD ever!!...kinda

      Hey everyone ,

I had my first on the Wednesday the 2nd July 2008!! It was very brief, and was triggered by an unintentional WILD induction...maybe and/or a bit of WBTB!!

I went out on the night before, and ended up not sleeping as I was supposed to go see a morning movie with some friends before one of them leave for UK for school. Anyway it was called off, and so i slept at 10:00am, I woke up at around 2:30pm and tried to stay awake.
I failed lol. I was tempted and dropped dead on my parents' bed, but was still awake.

I was in hypnagogic state between awake and sleep; for sometime I was repeatedly asleep & awoken.
After a while I entered a non-lucid dream (see 2nd July Dream #1 in my dream journal). After roughly more than an hour I awoken briefly.

Being aware that I just dreamt, I fell asleep again. But this time it was different, I kept reminding myself that I was awake and the separation of reality & dream before I fell asleep again. I kept reminding after entering hypnagogic state and eventually I found myself picturing me on the sidewalk outside my apartment block.

Because I was aware of it being a dream, I actually "ordered" myself to walk towards the block and enter the building through the already-open fire-exit (in reality it's open when people are moving in- to transport furniture etc.) and wait at the lift lobby; during which I talked to the fairy bloated security guard. lol

The dream ended right there as I became awake again, mildly shocked! However, I did not remember the dream being very vivid, and there wasn't much "sound" at all.

      Any thoughts people?

Thanks I hope I can experience Lucidity to its fullest, to see if it's really so amazing and realistic. The perks that come with it are really interesting too.
I can't imagine being able to practice in a particular scenario repeatedly before actually undergoing it in real life!

"wilding" lol, kool wording. I always find MILD and WILD funny 'course I relate it to inducting a Lucid dream by acting "mild" or in a "wild" way lmao.

Is it really that hard? It was totally accidental!

You know, the interesting thing is that I've been going out late and dropping dead like that so many times, during which I was always in hypnagogic state for a LONG time; but I've NEVER had CONTROL in a dream even when I might have been conscious of dreaming.

So really that technically wasn't my first; but rather my FIRST CONTROLLED LUCID DREAM!!!
