That's never happened to me. Sounds scary. |

hey, the other night i attempted a WILD and got to the point where i was feeling and hearing things. unlike most people, i enjoy this stage as i like to hear all the different sounds. (usually things like dolphin and whale sounds and stuff like that.) but the other night i almost sh*t myself! i was lying on top of my bed. all of a sudden, this sound i can only describe like the sounds UFOs in films make, that great giant bass humming. suddenly the whole room is shaking. as is usual, i expect to be soon somehow wrenched into the dream world. but instead, for the first time ever, i explode back into reality, exhilirated, as if i had just climaxed. anyone else experienced this or something similar? hope this post is in the right place. it was here or beyond dreaming. |

I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.

on the contrary, it was amazing. just wondering whether there is actually a name for this experience or what the hell happened. possibly some kind of over-WILD? hmm.. Uber-WILD has a ring to it.. |

I've felt some similar stuff. Loud noises and violent shaking building up to a head, then suddenly being completely wide awake. Sounds like you simply failed your WILD. Mabye trying to relax more, to calm down the sensations, could help? |

archdreamer, it didnt feel like a failed WILD. no dissapointment, just this adrenaline rush. i suppose it could have just been a fail just as i was phasing reality. but then again how could i have failed at that point? i dont get excited cus i am already content. ah well. |

Apachama: Noun. Slimey things made of dust.
"Everything is beautiful"
My only guess would be that, because you woke up completely clear and excited, either the conscious or subconscious excitement from the event caused you to quickly wake up. |
