Back on topic....
I, being underage, have never been drunk in my life.
I should try it in an LD and see what my mind comes up with.
Also, question? I don't get why you people openly admit to the world that you illegaly smoke pot. If I did, I would never tell anyone!
Mini Man...my dream brother... my newfound homie.... the hatchet was buried days ago. Don't get involved just to look mature yourself. I'm sure we both appreciate your concern, you are right on when you say "...is not something to blow up on" but we let it go, so should you.
Besides that, hey we're ALL friends here working for the SAME THING. Lets move on. I have a concern about your goal to get drunk in a dream.
Let me ask you about your LDing. How often can you achieve lucidity? Are you really so bored with the dream world that you want to be drunk?
Is it really worth it to waste the time? Especially when you haven't been drunk in real life. Please, don't feel attacked here.... It just sounds non-productive and a recipe for disaster. Are you going to try and get drunk after the dream to see if its the same? come on bro. Take it from someone who LDs every morning for hours. That stuff isn't as fun as it seems. The state of Lucidity and the options that it offers is far more appealing that "dream drunk".
This is my opinion of course, but I promise you i'm just looking out for you guys. I don't want to see you step off the path to play a game of beer pong or grab ass (not that I've tamed my sexual desires because I haven't, but its a goal if I'm to be SERIOUS about learning to MASTER this)
This state of mind, LUCIDITY, can take you to places you can ONLY imagine. To places books CANT show. it can give you answers to questions you didn't even know existed until posed to you. It can help you understand reincarnation, and the laws of the universe. You can bypass time/space. Or learn the steps you SHOULD be taking in your waking life so you can achieve what you are capable to doing.
"I can do magic, I like to write, Im also good with numbers though,....What should I do? " Turn to your dreams. lucid and NON. these give you those answers, if you can learn to read the language of symbolism that your soul speaks to you (personally).
This book I read the other day The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep - Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, has recently helped me to understand a lot of things about the dream world, and reminded me of things I'd heard in the past, but didn't stick.
It talks about STAYING still in a dream and watching the things that happen around you. But don't be involved, be passive. See if people come up to you and talk to you.
Learn to CONTROL yourself. CONTROL pety desires.
AGAIN, only my opinion. Just know I'm here for positive reasons though.
By the way, if anyone wants a copy of this book, email me and I'll see what I can do.
Oh, and the pot thing.....some states have it decriminalized. California is all about the reefer. You can LEGALLY get a prescription from a doctor and have hundreds of stores available to you all throughout LA, on street corners in the same little mall you're pizza place is. Or your Tax Office. its crazy. You can LEGALLY have up to like an ounce on your or something and two small plants growing. Crazy huh?
you're young though, don't go looking to alter your mind with alcohol and pot. Stick to the dreaming while you're fresh minded, you could probably get further along in your journey FASTER.
Anyway, I don't mind playing the role of big brother to those of you new to this lucid reality. I love that a lot of people are getting into Lucid Dreaming, and i want to help change the world. I've been where you've been, and I know in the end you will experience what you want. And you should. But be aware of your PRIORITIES, that's all.
Okay. That's a lot of reading. Sorry. But hey, friends, if any one looking for books like from Monroe, or Laberge or LD Manual in PDF. I'll see what I can do. I obviously like to talk about LDs and share my techniques and views. for those of you who are SERIOUS SERIOUS SERIOUS about their skills and FEEL that inside of them they have what it takes to make a MASTER of the dream world and altered states of consciousness, please feel free to contact me. I am here for you.
