      Was it my cat?

Last night i was lucid and out of nowhere my cat who died a while back appears and HE stayed with me what felt like hours and HE acted exactly like my cat did.

I also had a lucid a few months back where he was in where i felt like it was him.

Maybe he was trying to tell me he was ok or something?

      Any thoughts?

Damn i meant to post this in beyond dreaming!

I don't think so, I believe these are your fond memories of your cat and you are giving yourself an opportunity to be with him again. I'm not sure why you summoned him in your first lucid, but it is possible that he appeared in your second simply because he had done so in the first and you remembered it while dreaming. I had the same thing happen with my childhood dog last year, two years after she died. I successfully turned her into a dreamsign, spent some time properly saying goodbye to her, and then had the best lucid of my life. I'd suggest you use the opportunity to spend some more time with your kitty and just enjoy Everyone interprets LDs differently, I personally think that it is your brain accessing memories and nothing more. Just as you dream of the living. But, to each his own!

I have had my cat visit me in many dreams. I might have had a dream about her last night, even. Thanks for stirring my memory.

I think you misunderstood or maybe i did.

Do you think i have had two lucids in my life and he was in both? I lucid every night and they were a few months apart. Also i did not summon him in either he just appeared, thats why i found it strange along he was exactly like the cat i knew.

Nice to hear about your experience and your thoughts.

I see my dead dog in my lucids from time to time. I'm always happy to see him and remember him better when I'm asleep than when I'm awake. I don't really think it's him though; I don't believe in stuff like that.
