I've been reading a lot of posts, and i noticed almost everyone talking about being lucid interact with dream characters. i only every talked to 2 dream characters while lucid (my subconscious, and some guy on the phone.) i have never saw a single face while lucid, which never crossed my mind until today. i've had semi-lucids where i interact with others, (for example talking to my grandma about lucidity, but never being aware that i'm in a dream) and in almost all my regular dreams there are A LOT of people. is this common among anyone else to not see other people during a lucid dream? if so, is this just a phase that i grow out of after enough lucids? sometimes i'm desperate to interact with ANYONE during a lucid dream. i battled a giant robot once, but that doesn't count as a sentient being. i try to summon people with various methods, and total confidence, but it never works, or i wake up before they appear. i truly believe in myself while i'm lucid, and i fly whenever and wherever, i just have that one problem. thanks for reading, and please reply if you have any thoughts, especially if this has happened to you.

When I WILD I'm usually alone in the dream. I managed to conjur up a dc a couple of times. All I did was move through the house calling out a person's name and he was in the last room I checked. Also, mirrors in lucid dreams are interesting things. Your reflection can end up being a dc of surprising character. Touch your reflection and see how it responds to you.

I'm usually alone in LDs too. I think this is because I place no value in DCs, believing that they are not real and do not matter. For me it only got worse with time. I would suggest going to places where you know you will find people or using DCs in some integral way in your dreams. For example, try to convince yourself that you need a certain person to accomplish something or that you need someone's advice about how to proceed.

Touch your reflection and see how it responds to you. wow thanks, i never thought about using the mirror before thanks so much, i'll try that next time if i manage to find a mirror. if that doesn't work, i guess i could try what you did, and call out the person's name. i rarely look for a specific person, just anyone to talk to or hang out with, but that sounds like a good idea. this morning i managed to have a lucid dream and a DC was in it it was a short lucid, one of the shortest i've had, but it was clear. the DC was a woman who was suppose to be in a t.v. show or something. she had short blond hair, but i didn't recognize here. well, she let me feel her breasts anyway edit- there was actually more than one reason why i felt her breasts. the first reason is obvious, and the second one was to stabilize the dream. i tried rubbing my hands together, but that didn't work, apparently plan "B" didn't work either lol.
