      Interesting experience

I had a dream a couple of nights ago that I wanted to share with y'all because it is so interesting.

I was VERY tired the night I fell asleep, and I was really in need of a good nights sleep.
      Anyway, onto the dream:

I was in MovieWorld (a theme park in australia, a similar concept to DisneyLand for all you yanks ), and I was walking down one of the streets, and saw that they had opened a gun-store. I entered the gun-store and began browsing rifles, when I suddenly saw the shop owner behind the counter. His name was Phil for some reason.
"Hey Phil!" I said, "remember me?! I came to MovieWorld like seven years ago and we really hit it off!"
"Naww sorry mate, can't say I do, lots of people come through here."

I was disappointed, but continued browsing his wide selection of rifles and hand-grenades , when suddenly a russian mobster entered the store.
"Phillip! This is the last straw my friend, you sold me bad napalm again!" he said.
"Nawwww sorry mate, i'll just go getcha another barrel ay?" He walked out to the back of the store.
I watched the events unfold, but wasn't lucid. The russian mobster disappeared and a black-haired girl appeared (who I am beginning to suspect may have been my dream guide). She said: "You look tired. Come with me."

Suddenly the setting changed, and I was sitting on a curb of a road. She was sitting next to me, and I was eating wheat-bix (a type of cereal with milk). She pulled a bottle of pills out of her trouser pocket and said:
"Take twelve of these sleeping pills and you will get the best sleep you have ever had."
I nodded, and she opened the top of the bottle, then poured ALL of the pills in (there must've been about 30) into my cereal. I didn't think anything of it, but continued to eat, counting the pills as I put them on my spoon and ate them. I counted up to 15, and the dream ended. I fell into a deep sleep and had one of the most refreshing night's sleep I have ever had.

Wasn't lucid, but I still found this dream incredibly interesting that my dream initiated me into a deeper sleep. Perhaps I fell into this sleep because I believed I would? Power of suggestion and all that?
Don't know, am happy to hear your opinions though

Awesome. That is most awesome. Yes I think it worked because you believed it would work. But you believed it would work because you trusted this black haired girl. The fact you trusted her most completely stands out to me as really cool and definitely holding meaning. Is she your dream guide? I don't know, in two years I've not met mine that I know of. Definitely seemed guide-y though lol. Either way that was a really cool one.

Double posting :/ but I felt like this needed to be separated. For me I would be most intrigued to find her again. She helped you rest when you were tired, and it ended on a road. Perhaps she was preparing you for the journey down this road? That could be neat!

Yes I am very psyched up about finding her again. I need to work on retaining lucidity however, 'cause I tend to wake up quickly when I become lucid.

I am hoping to call for her the next time I do become lucid though.

There was something that I forgot to mention which really suggested to me that she was my dream guide which you reminded me of...it was the atmosphere. I truly trusted this girl, I felt as if I had known her for a very long time, like she was my childhood friend and I had forgotten about her when I moved away to a different place.
Sounds a bit cliche and lame, but that really was the "bond-like" atmopshere that I had with her.

Yeah, that's really important. I've on a few occasions had similar experiences, with the intense perfect trust and the "I've known you since before time" feeling. And now I'm wondering if it was the same girl each time... the one who saved me from myself in the real world by coming to me in a dream. I'm gonna have to read back in my journal now. I remember the last time, and yeah it sounds mushy but hey. This girl looked at me with the most perfect love in her eyes. I could barely look back, I felt almost inferior, but something about her made me stop and say "No, this is exactly right. It's perfect" She sang to me, in a language and a voice I cannot describe. I cried when I awoke. Really powerful stuff.
