Smile Lucid dreaming--the key to writing, homework, and numbers

My number one hobby in life is writing. I had previously created two of my favorite fictional characters through dreams that I had (although they were not lucid dreams). So as soon as I heard about lucid dreaming, I immediately thought about how this could improve my writing/plots/character development, etc.

It's been an awesome experience! Whenever I feel as if my plot in a story is falling, I will simply think before I fall asleep, "When I fall asleep tonight, an amazing idea will come to me and my story will continue." It has worked about three times so far, which would be about fifty percent of the time. I have only started having lucid dreams recently, and am still exploring my limits, or lack of limits, with them. I feel like I am more productive in my sleep than I am in the real world!

Also, whenever I have to study for a test that I don't feel confident about, I will simply look-not read but just look-at some notes before I go to sleep. In my lucid dream I will conjure up the notes I had been previously glancing at in the real world, and then I will read them. In the morning, I can usually remember what I read.

Also, if I am doing a complicated math problem (I'm horrible with numbers), I will write the problem down, look at it before falling asleep, and then in a lucid dream I will solve it effortlessly. Usually in the morning I can remember the answer, or some of the answer. I usually can't recall how I got my solution though. This added bonus of lucid dreams surprised me. I feel as if lucid dreams unlocks unearthly potential in me. Numbers, in the conscious world, are not something I can comprehend without gaining a headache. In my sleep though, I can make perfect sense of them. Does anyone know why that is...?

The subconscious is extremely powerful...it can effortlessly apply all of your knowledge much faster than you consciously could. Many people have gone to sleep puzzling over something and have mysteriously found the perfect answer when they wake up.

      It's a good thing.

I like to write, and draw a whole lot of experience from my dreams too! I never usually dream about my stories though. That's really probably only happened once, when I was in my backyard and two characters I'd created decided to start a knife fight with me.

I've never really used my LDs for anything like that yet, but I'll try sometime.
