      WILD-ing in a FA

Yeh, last night I managed to WILD (not really) in a non-lucid false awakening.

Basicly I thought I woke up, and took a look at the clock, 30 minutes left before I had to get up. As I'd just awoken from a dream, I decided to try a WILD.
Immediatly when I lied down, I felt a rush of energy, followed by complete paralyses. I tried to move my fingers a few times, and snapped out of it.
After that I tried it again, and again I slipped into paralyses in a matter of seconds. I waited for a while, thinking a dream might appear or something, but nothing happened.
I decided to imagen myself floating out of my body, towards the window. This actually worked, and I flew through the window onto some heavily wooded hills, flying around for a while ( like 1-2 minutes).
In this part I actually knew I was dreaming. It was quite clear, though everything had a certain.. cartoon-like feel to it.
I awoke again, and noticed how I still had 15 minutes left and tried a third time.
I got to the paralyses feeling, but then I really woke up, and noticed I still had like one and a half hour before I had to get up.
So, I achieved a lucid dream by WILD-ing in a non-lucid false awakening.
On the other side..it can't be a WILD, as I was already dreaming when doing the WILD technique...
The only time I experienced real sleep paralyses was when I got shot in a dream, and woke up, so I don't really know what real WILD-ing should feel like, but this was kinda cool nonetheless.
Anyone else ever had an experience like this?

there is nothing better than WILD in a FA. actually yes there is, WILDing in a dream setting, its like stealing candy from a baby.

usually WILDing in a dream or in a FA has some really good results, especially for those of us that find a real WILD hard to do

technically speaking, since you weren't asleep it's not a real WILD. however, it is if you believe in the astral. because asleep, or not asleep, the WILD is a technique to exit your body whether dreaming or not.

That is exactly how I lucid dream as well. Most times when I do it it will
happen as soon as I go to bed, and I'll go into SP quickly. But it does
happen after I wake up as well. Then when I feel the SP, I just float out
of my body and away I go! I've been doing it like that for 22 yrs.
Only recently have I had my first DILD.

I don't understand you here. 'WILD' means 'wake initiated lucid dream' so if
you were awake before the LD then it's a WILD. That's what I always took
it to mean anyway. This is the reason I think there should be a term
called 'SPILD' But 'WILD' is all they have for this way of LDing.

      I normally dont experience sleepparalyses.
I know I may not have been clear enough, but I actually WILD-ed in a false awakening, so it indeed was no real WILD as I was not awake.
At the time of trying to WILD I thought I was awake, but it turned out it actually was a false awakening I WILD-ed from.
(Dammit, now I still didnt accomplish a real WILD)
And I get the idea juoara meant:" since you weren't awake it's not a real WILD"

I know, but she said 'since you weren't asleep its not a real WILD.
She probably just said it wrong.

Sometimes when I go to bed, in about 5 minutes or so I'll feel SP kicking in.
Its like the whole body is going numb but you're still awake. When this
happens I always use it to LD. I float out of my body during the SP like you
did, and then I fly out of my house, usually through a window and off I go
to somewhere, totally lucid! A lot of times I wake up during these and then
I keep slipping back into other LDs, over and over again, on purpose. The first
one was a 'WILD' and the following ones are all 'DEILDs'. When I wake up
after these, I always know im awake at the time and without even opening
my eyes, I try to get back into another LD. I always start every new DEILD
floating out of my body again and starting all over again.
Sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night in SP and then I'll use it
to LD. I'm not completely sure if these are WILDS or DEILDs? lol I think
WILDs though, because even though Im in SP, I'm awake.
Then after I awake after these LDs, I can sometimes DEILD again over and
over....but usually after the first one I just wake up and then just go back
to normal sleep. It depends on whether or not I'm still deep in SP when I
wake up, if I can slip back into another LD after the first one. If the SP is
      wearing off fast, I can't.
I hope all this didn't sound very confusing!
