Thread: Lucid and not lucid

I had a strange experience. In a dream I was in bed with my ex-ex-whatever-girlfriend and she started pushing my lower front teeth. It started to really hurt and she just didn't stop. I wasn't lucid, but at some point I told her that if she behaves that way, I'll just wake up. So I did... for real, I did a RC. So I wasn't lucid, but my dreamego nevertheless knew it was dreaming. Any input on this?

I just recalled that I did MILD that night and my mantra was something like: "I will know when I dream." Maybe this turned out a bit awkward, because I did know that I dream, but nevertheless wasn't lucid. It's probably better to use a mantra that reminds you of making RCs or watching out for dreamsigns.
