Alright, well I've been trying a lot of techniques for Lucid Dreaming in the last couple weeks, but I just kind of gave up on it last week. Well last night I had my first Lucid Dream!! I'm not sure what triggered me to be Lucid, I just knew I was Lucid right when I entered it.
Here's what happened in the dream:
First, I was running through a field with some kid I met at school. The dream kind of froze then. It wasn't when I realized that I was dreaming, it was when I remembered that rubbing my hands together makes my dream more vivid. So I rubbed my hands together, and sure enough my dream became MUCH more clear. I could easily see everything. After that we just continued on running. We sort of came to a shop kind of thing, but I could only see one booth. So I went up to the shop, or booth, or whatever you wanna call it, and decided I wanted to try to skateboard in my dream. ( Another one of my hobbies I've been trying to do better in ) I closed my eyes and concentrated on a skateboard. When I opened them there was a skateboard in front of me. As I started to put one foot on it, I realized there was a glass case around it. Still excited for my first lucid and trying to maintain it, I kept running with the kid that I met at school through the field. We came to a stop and he asked me if I would like to see his house. I said "Yes." and we started walking. After a few seconds he said "There are always two houses." which I have no idea what he was trying to say. Immediately after that I heard my alarm clock ringing. The dream was sliding below me and I was emerging into blackness. Before I woke up, I shouted to the kid that I met at school, "I gotta go!" and I found myself awake, in my bed. The only bad part was that my alarm clock woke me up just before I got a change from the boring scenery of the field.
So.. Any suggestions on what I should do next time? Anyone else had this problem of wishing for things in your dream but you can't use them? Please comment on my dream!
