      First Lucid Last Night!

Hey ld'ers I'm kind of new to the site. I have been reading tons of posts for the past few months, but decided not to post until I finally had a Lucid myself. I was trying really hard from September to October with no luck, except for a better memory of my dreams. The past few weeks I only thought about lucid dreaming at most 3 nights. But 2 nights ago, out of nowhere, It happened.

I don't remember much, but I do remember standing there, somewhere, talking to one of my friends. I mentioned something about dreaming, then thought about what I had just said. Dreaming... Dreaming.. Then it hit me! IM DREAMING!!!!!! I got so excited I was screaming and jumping around but soon remembered that being too excited at becoming lucid can cause the dream to end. So I spun around a few times, which I read here would help to increase lucidity. Then some guy told me to do something with my hands, which also was supposed to help increase lucidity. I then remember thinking " alright, Im Lucid, now what?, What Can I Do?" I tried to make something appear, but have no recollection after that, if it worked or not, or I woke up.

I didn't even remember the Lucid upon awakening, I remembered it late the next night out with my friends. I'm very grateful for this experience and hope it's just the beginning.

p.s. After having your first lucid dream, does having more become easier? Thanks.

      you'll see more of me,
      -Mike

About the 1st - 4th dreams the difficulty will probably get a little easier, but past that it gets easier much quicker.

My first Ld ended almost at the moment it started. It all takes time, but eventually you will reach your first high quality lucid dream, and believe me, that is an experience you will never forget.

Congatulations on your first LD, here's to many more in the future!

try talking to dream charecters! you can learn from them (or atleast I think so) try asking a smart looking one, some question you have no clue what the answer is.. and really tell them you need to know.. then when thay give you an answer look it up online, to see if its right not sure if I seen that some were or not but uhh I think I just cae up with it! I should try it

congrats on your lucid, and yes it does become easier to have lucids. Ever since 2 months after i joined this forum, i've had about 1 or 2 lucids a week, some i remember and some i don't. I think you should try to become invisible in your next lucid, i had a lucid where i just thought about becoming invisible and all the dcs around me couldn't see me. If you want to summon people or certain objects just thing about it and visualize it and see if that works, but you have to believe that you can do it.
