Inability to climax during lucid sex

First off, if this is in the wrong place to be posting this, let me know and I'll move it.

I've been LDing for close to three years now and every single time I have sex with a DC, I can't seal the deal. Does anyone else have this problem? It's happened so much that it's become a dream sign. The same thing happens when I urinate in a dream, it just won't stop. Anyone have any thoughts for overcoming this problem. I would really like to enjoy a lucid climax sometimes.

I thought that it might have to do with my fear of a nocturnal emission, but I don't think that would happen.

Last night I in fact did climax but it was without any physical feeling. Perhaps just talking about it let my subconcious work on it? Hmm.

      THat's interesting...
I get the feelings but not the physical result (semen).
      You're saying the opposite happend?
The sun and moon pass over my shoulders,
I see mountains and rivers all in the palm of my hand.

Yes. A couple of seconds after the encounter began, I went through all the visual signs of orgasm but with none of the feeling. It should probably be said that my lucidity level had been steadily declining since the beginning of the encounter. It's very hard to remain detached when doing something that needs all your attention.

I think this is pretty common. Maybe it has something to do about our preconceived notions about the male orgasm.

I've had it both ways. Most of the time I can not climax, and other times I can easily have multiple orgasms. Now that I think about it, when I have dreams about masturbating, I often feel that frustration of it being impossible for me to climax. When I have dreams about sex, I am not focused on orgasm, I am focused on the experience. Then it comes naturally, or multiple times. Maybe we should try to resist making it the focus of the experience.

I think you're right, Robot_Butler. I can't recall a single masturbatory dream in which I climaxed. Although when I'm having dream sex, it's not so much about the orgasm as just the pleasure in the act itself. Needless to say, it's mostly just wish-fufillment and not a sensory experience. As if the act in itself is climax enough. Does that makes sense? Whatever the case, I'm quickly coming to the end of my interest in dream sex. I posted this thread to see if other people shared my experiences. I'm glad that I'm not alone.
